What is the difference between soup bones and pet bones?

Soup bones have marrow and are cut into small pieces.  Typically it comes from areas like the femur or rib of the animal.  It is used mostly in soup as it adds a meaty, creamy and rich flavor.  The pet bone is actually the knuckle or the knee cap of the animal and does not come with marrow.  It’s a good chewing bone.

Norwich Meadows Farms and NMF Halal Meats sells both typically in 2-3 lb bags.
